Physical
Therapy
" Movement is a medicine for creating change in a person's physical, emotional, and mental states."

As pediatric physical therapists, our goal is for your child to access their environment at their highest capability. We strive to maximize children's gross motor skills in kid-friendly ways in order for them to achieve the most functional independence possible. Our emphasis is on children's abilities to engage in various environments (home, classroom, playground, etc.) through movement.
Physical therapists may include many different interventions to reach your child's highest potential. Many of our treatment techniques include strengthening, balance and coordination exercises, stretching, and massage. These treatment techniques are determined on an individual basis for your child and encourage correct motor development to improve your child's abilities.
We provide assessments on gait and the best footwear which can include shoe inserts and orthotics to increase your child's development and increase optimal musculoskeletal alignment as they continue to grow. We also provide adaptive equipment screening and management.
